Grace and I were playing pirates in the back yard and I finally was able to get some cute pictures of us together.

She Rode Her Bike All by Herself!
We helped her at first and then she just took off and was more worried that Steve was in front of her more than falling. Anytime she fell she said, "I'm ok." We are so proud of her! We posted a video below. You will have to pause the music player if you want to hear the sound on the video.

Learning to Ride a Bike
Tonight we spent a good hour with Grace teaching her how to ride her bike without training wheels. She did it! She rode half way around our cul-de-sac and then fell over and we caught her...not to mention we are both out of breath from trying to stay up with her. Overall she did great! She jumped up and down and had the biggest smile. Tomorrow we will try again. Grace says she is "a little exhausted." Ha ha, where did she learn the meaning of that word so soon.

A sweet way to share...
Thanks to Tiff starting up her blog, I fell in love with a simple personalized space. So with that being said this is the beginning of a new, fun way for us to share our lives with our friends and family without all the popular trending networks out there. I have still left links to our Facebook pages so you can still go into our crazy but wonderful lives.

Steve, Melissa and Gracie

Steve and I have been married 8 years this September the 24th. We fell in love while stationed in Hawaii for the Army. We have a very smart and sweet daughter named Grace Christine. Steve has been working as a Union Piledriver for four years now and has learned so much from the trade. He is always building something. I have been in and out of work for a few years now trying to find my niche, and I am so fortunate that as of Friday the 19th I will be able to be a stay at home mommy finally. I am so looking forward to being home with my little girl and being able to spend her summer doing fun and memorable things. Grace will be in first grade next year and I can't wait to help out in her classroom. We have been in our home in Puyallup, WA now for a little over a year now and boy are there many projects to do. We are fortunate to have a lot of our family and friends so close to us so that we can enjoy all of our time with the ones we love. Thank you for taking the time to allow us to be part of your lives.
